There are many Restaurants and Bars within walking distance including Flowt, Loft and Cafe Soleil within the marina. A guest favourite, and "local fish joint", the Four Shells is close by, they have snapper and lobster dinners, at local prices, fresh from the Fish Market next door.

For the more active there is safe swimming and snorkelling at the bottom of the garden, there is also a small reef with tropical fish along the shoreline. Depending on the season you may see turtles, eels, lobsters and small rays. Take some cash and swim or paddle 100 yards around to Flowt Beach Bar.

Walk or kayak to the beach across the bay and spend the afternoon at St Vincent's newest beach club. Get your photo taken on the famous giant yellow chair.

To venture further under the sea, we recommend visiting Serenity Dive, a 2 minute walk away.  They can set you up with snorkelling or diving trips.

Barefoot and Horizon Yachts are on our doorstep and we are very well placed for day charters and fishing trips.

There are local walks that take in old sugar mills, the Atlantic Ocean and the Belmont Lookout, giving stunning views over Mesopotamia and down the Grenadines.

You can take a kayak and paddle to empty beaches, take the ferry over to Young Island for a sunset cocktail or pick up a water taxi and climb the 255 steps to Fort Duvernette.

In the afternoon, watch the fishing boats returning with their catch and maybe buy some sea fresh fish for dinner.

And the local vans stop right outside the gate giving easy access to explore the rest of the island.
